You should be very careful downloading any free wallpapers from the internet. If you download and it is an executable file, it very likely contains some sort of spyware which is often difficult to remove. Spyware can record your keystrokes and compromise your information.

Webshots
This is one place you can go that is 100% safe. You will download the Webshots desktop software which will allow you to choose from thousands of pictures (lots of butterflies!)

You can also search Google Images, Large image sizes and download what you find to a folder. If you use Windows, choose My Computer, Settings, Display, Apppearance and Themes, Desktop.

Here is one image that works nicely. Click on it to get to the larger image and download to your computer, or right click and "Save target as".
